Clear Bandage
✦ Leave the bandage on 5-7 days, 7 days is suggested for best results.
✦ DO NOT pick, scratch, or peel up the bandage
✦ If edges start to peel up you can carefully trim around the edges of the bandage, being careful not to peel up more of the bandage.
✦ It is completely normal for the bandage to fill up with fluid, your body will partially reabsorb it in 3-4 days.
✦ After the clear bandage is applied you can wear any clothing over it, shower like normal and engage in light exercise. Soaking in water, including swimming, hot tubs, pools or bathtubs, is not advised. Also heavy workouts causing increased sweatiness is not recommended while the bandage is on as the sweat can get trapped.
✦ Remove the bandage in the shower by pulling the edge gently up and away from the skin. Use warm water and soap to help ease the bandage off.
✦ Wash and rinse the whole tattoo with mild soap and warm water after the bandage is removed.
✦ If the bandage’s sticky residue is left on the skin or tattoo, be aware this does not harm your new tattoo and will come off over the next few days with each subsequent shower.
✦ Mild redness around the tattoo after removal of the bandage is normal. Please advise your tattoo artist if you have any questions about your bandage.
✦ After removing your bandage you can apply any moisturizer you wish with clean hands, though limited amounts of a lotion you know you aren’t sensitive to is recommended.
✦ Stay out of pools, hot tubs, and UV exposure for 3-4 weeks after removing your bandage.

Blue/Black Bandage
✦ Leave the bandage on for 4-8 hrs to let your body release fluid from the area.
✦ Wash the area with warm water and mild soap with extra care.
✦ Using disposable paper towel apply a hot compress to the area to release excess fluid buildup from the tattoo. Repeat until the paper towel stops removing this fluid, which may take only one compress, or several depending on the tattoo style.
✦ DO NOT use creams, moisturizers, or any ointments for the first 48 hours.
✦ On day three you can apply a non-comedogenic, non-greasy, unscented moisturizer with clean hands when the area is feeling dry
✦ Remember, lotion does not help your tattoo heal, it only makes the skin more comfortable for you. Over moisturizing has the potential to cause irritation and affect the overall heal of your tattoo.
✦ DO NOT PICK OR SOAK YOUR TATTOO. IF SOMETHING IRRITATES IT, STOP DOING THAT IMMEDIATELY.
